I remember Marion as always being in the Hatchery office and always with a smile on her face. She was a member of the Greatest Generation.  Me and the other “boomers” are fortunate and honored to have been raised by her generation.

My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Aunt Marian will be missed. I have some wonderful memories...spending Christmas with Aunt Marian and Uncle John and my cousins and most of all Thanksgivings in LaRue with a houseful of family and little kids and Thanksgivings in Fort Pierce at the pool. What a great time we had! Thanks to technology (Echo) it was a blessing to get to see and talk to her nearly every day over the past year. Love, Nancy Scott

Ronda, Dean, Annette and the entire Ridgway family.  Hopefully you remember me -- Robyn Jones, Bob and Rayda's daughter.  I just wanted to share my deepest sympathies in your mother's passing.  Your mom has always been Aunt Marian to me.  I have so many great memories of her.  I worked for her on several Christmas breaks during college and law school at the hatchery, running that old address machine to get the mailings ready for the new year.  She taught me to ski one summer when we spent a week with all of you at Coldwater Lake.  It took forever, but she was so patient.  After everyone else had given up, she worked with me every day.  Finally, on the very last day we were there. I made it up on those skis!  To this day, I remember her laugh and her encouraging words.  I know you will miss her so much, but I pray all of the good and wonderful memories you have will sustain you in the years to come.

My heart is with all of my cousins and their families as we remember a lifetime of unforgettable experiences. From Christmas in Toledo (watching Lawrence Welk) to so many huge, fun, and delicious Thanksgiving gatherings, to our regular Alexa Show chats over the past year, "Auntie M" (she loved it when I called her that and always smiled) was unforgettable. We had great fun on many FL to OH and back again road trips, passing the hours with family stories and Car Karaoke at the top of our voices. And there were good times with the "Bling Sisters" (Marian & Lu) at the Hard Rock Casino, where they would get all gussied up and play the slots till long after we "kids" had gone to bed. Good times. Sending love and hugs. Char

Annette, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember so fondly how welcome your mom made me feel when I would come over and play at your house. We would run around in the hatchery and then go upstairs to listen to music. May your mom rest in peace.
