Johnny Eugene Arthur II
Johnny Eugene Arthur IIJohnny Arthur CarJohnny Eugene Arthur II, 32 of LaRue passed away on May 19 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He died from injuries sustained from a car accident on May 13, 2023.

Johnny was born on January 22, 1991 in Marion to Betty Anderson and John Arthur. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Anderson and his grandparents.

He graduated from Northmor High School in 2009. Johnny worked at Attindas Hygiene Partners in Delaware. He was there for 3 years.

Johnny's son, Alexander Arthur was born in July of 2015. He married the love of his life Brandianne (Smith) Arthur on September 4, 2020 in Marion.

Johnny was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He loved children. He loved teaching them how things worked. He would spend hours driving them around on the lawn mower or doing other things with them. He loved his car; he was so excited when he took it to the track a few weeks ago. He had many plans for that car. Johnny also loved playing his Xbox. If it was cold outside, you could definitely find him camped out in front of the TV playing games with his buddies. He really liked collecting Pokémon cards and trading them with his friends. He liked to travel. It didn't matter how short of notice it was, he always said yes let's go.

Johnny was a good man and a great husband. He loved his wife so much that he rode a horse up a mountain just because she wanted to. He wasn't always happy with her antics, but he totally put up with them because he loved her so much.

Johnny stepped up to be a great dad to his stepchildren and an amazing Papaw to his grandchildren. He loved them and his son Xander so very much. He was excitedly waiting for them to get old enough to play with Legos and he couldn't wait to show Xander the horses when he got the chance. Johnny loved to fix things, but he always did it his own way. It didn't matter whether it was the right way or the wrong way. He liked to come up with his own way to do it. Johnny was a good friend to everyone, if he said he had your back you could count on it. Johnny loved his work family they were definitely a big part of his life. He was always a great friend and a good listener. He cared about people and was always trying to help or cheer someone up if they needed it. Johnny will be greatly missed by his friends and family. In his last selfless act on earth Johnny was an organ donor.
