Dorothy L. “Dotty” LemasterRed Rose2Dorothy L. “Dotty” Lemaster, 73 of Marion, died Monday April 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She was born March 6, 1950 in Essex to the late Herman and Catherine (Dowell) Lemaster. She was also preceded in death by siblings; Jack and Larry Lemaster, Carolyn (Susie) Proffitt, Shelby Levan and Barbara Lemaster, granddaughter; Nikole Smith, nephews; Eddie, Randy and Jackie Lemaster and niece; Dawn Blevins

Dotty is a 1968 graduate of North Union. She raised two daughters Laurie and Phoebe. She was known as "Dotty " having worked as a waitress for 13 years at the old Winner’s Circle in Richwood. She managed a few restaurants in Marysville; Country Folks, Bob Evans and a few others. She also worked as a cashier at Moto Mart in Marion for nearly 15 yrs. and then retired. During her retirement she took care of her great grandchildren. All of the grandchildren kept her young and she kept busy spoiling them. That was her favorite thing to do as well as go out to eat. Bob Evans was a big favorite.

Surviving are her daughters; Laurie (Jerry) Chapman of Marion and Phoebe Martin of Urbana
grandchildren; Tony Porter, Logan Cordell, Kacie Martin and Jaxon Pack
great grandchildren Braxston, Bryleigh and Briella Porter
sister; Donna (John) Adams of Marysville
and many nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Thursday April 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Jeremy Gillfillian will officiate. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society
