Cathy Jo Furrow
Cathy Jo FurrowPittsburgh SteelersCathy Jo Furrow, 57 of Richwood, died peacefully Tuesday March 21, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family, following a battle with small-cell carcinoma.

She was born September 29,1965 in Marysville to Jack Blinn and Patricia A. (Newman).

Cathy had worked in the restaurant industry. She was a talented musician, having played the trumpet for many veteran day ceremonies. She liked to crochet and really enjoyed taking random pictures on her phone. Cathy had a passion for football, she loved her OSU Buckeyes and most importantly the Pittsburgh Steelers, she actually went as far as being the admin on different Steelers forums.
She loved her devoted family, they were the center of her life.

Surviving is her mom, Patricia A. Harper of Richwood, her children, Kara (Matt Roberts) Furrow of Richwood and Jarod Furrow of Richwood
Siblings, Jayson (Stephanie) Blinn of Ashland, Kentucky and Jacke (Michael) Salanitri of Marion, Iowa
Sister-in-law, Shelly Coleman of Marysville, special nephew, Lance (Amie) Coleman of Richwood

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Charles “Chuck” Coleman

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday March 26, 2023 from 2-4 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society

Cathy was one of my Steelers Sisters. I will miss her tremendously along with her Steelers Family. She was so loved by all of us and we all loved her. Heaven has gained another angel. RIP our Sweet Steeler Sister Cathy! Wave that terrible towel up in heaven and root our Steelers on. Love you girl. You will be missed.

I was friends with Cathy for just a short time she is a great perso... The time that I was friends with her on FB she is  a humble lady....she will always be with us in spirit that is why i say is not was....We will see her again...she is waiting for us on the other side....I hate it when things like this happen...GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS ALWAYS AND FOREVER...

So sorry to hear about Kathy.  We were not able to make calling hours and I felt bad about that.  I remember when she got her trumpet.  I would hear her practicing her heart out.  She became very good on her trumpet.  She will be missed.  Our deepest condolences to your family.                               Virg and Jani

I am so sorry to hear about Cathy.  I remember her when we were growing up and as teenagers, we would go to the drive-in together.  I went to the showing and remember some of the pictures when she was in school.  They brought tears to my eyes.
