Suzanne Mahaney
Suzanne MahaneyCrochetSuzanne Mahaney, 86 of Plain City, died early Monday morning, January 23, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 28, 1936 in Thompson Twp., Delaware County to the late Dana Max and Fern Elizabeth (Erwin) Fryman. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Lucas and Larry Laughrey; her former husband, Luther Laughrey, Jr., and brothers, David and Don Fryman.

Suzanne was of the Lutheran faith, she took great comfort in reading the Bible, something she did on a very regular basis.
She had a fun loving  spirit, she enjoyed playing all sorts of card games, rooting for her Ohio State Buckeyes and spending many hours crocheting. Suzanne also enjoyed reading mysteries and when she was able, she liked to go fishing and camping.
But the real center of her life was her loving family, she cherished all the time she could spend with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Luanne Kleinsteuber of Brantford, Ontario, Canada and a son, Lance Laughrey of Chillicothe.
Grandchildren, Chelsea (Timothy) Taylor, Shelby (Trevor) Rose, Quintyn Gibson and Jonathan Laughrey.
Great grandchildren, Ava Gibson, Rielly Taylor, Brody Taylor, Amia Rose, Maci Taylor, Adley Rose, Hailey Taylor and Archer Rose.
One brother, Harold (Ruth) Fryman of Delaware

Funeral services will be held Monday January 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Josh Hause will officiate, burial will follow in the Shoup (Thompson Twp.) Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Assn. 1699 W Mound St, Columbus, OH 43223

Harold (Dick) so sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing. Losing another cousin. I always enjoyed talking to Suzanne at the Fryman family reunions.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and her children and grandchildren during this difficult time.

I miss playing games with her. Her teaching us grandkids how to play card games she grew up playing as a kid. I’ll always pass the memories on to others. I love her so much and she’ll be missed a bunch.

Our hearts are breaking. Suzanne holds a special place in our heart.
She truly loved every moment she spent with her family. Her whole world was all of you. She will be missed terribly.

I love you most mammaw. Always & forever. Life won't be the same without you. You left such a big impact on mine and my kids lives. My, how you know how to fill so many hearts with love and care. I hope you felt as loved in life as you made me feel. I cannot wait to see you again, I know you'll always be watching and guiding me wherever I go. I love you so much.
