Paul E. Moore
Paul E. MooreTomato GardenPaul E. Moore, 79 of rural Marysville, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning October 11, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital in Marysville.

He was born December 17, 1942 at the family home near Claibourne to the late John F. and Edna Wanita (Bulen) Moore. He was also preceded in death on June 5, 2018 by his wife Ruth Moore, whom he was devoted to.

Paul was a talented mechanic, having worked for Kale Marketing in Richwood for many years. He was also a farmer and had worked for the Baird Family on their farm. There was not much that Paul couldn’t fix.

Paul loved his garden, he would plant so much that he just had to share his harvest with all the people he could! He was also a talented baker, again, he just loved to share his goodies with the ones he cared for. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed bird watching and feeding them twice a day.

Paul loved to visit and tell stories (and maybe a joke or two), he really enjoyed going to the farmers market and seeing people and talking about their goods.

When he and Ruth were married in 1977, he inherited six children and all that comes with that. To Paul, he had won the lottery. He was so proud to be part of the family, he loved them all.

Surviving is his family, Vicki Risner of North Lewisburg, Annie (Dave) Feasel, Marysville, Debbie Thompson, Marysville, David (Kelly) Risner, Richwood, Susan (Dan) Winiger, Marysville and Steve Risner, Marysville
13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth (Lois) Moore of Marysville and their children, Gene Moore and Gail Darnell

There will a Gathering of Family and Friends for Paul on Sunday October 16, 2022 from 2-4 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Drive
Tampa, FL 33607 and St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

I have known Paul since I was a kid.  He was always so nice and I was so happy when I learned that he and Ruth had married! They were certainly a match made in Heaven.
I send my sincerest condolences to the entire family and pray that the Lord brings them solace in their time of grief. Love to all...
