Margaret “Peggy” Hamilton
Margaret “Peggy” HamiltonRed Rose2Margaret “Peggy” Hamilton, 81 of Richwood died Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11:10 PM at Wyndmoor of Marion.

She was born January 22, 1941 in Kenton to the late C. E. and Marjorie (Wiley) McAllister.

On September 7, 1958 she married Larry R. Hamilton in the Byhalia United Methodist Church and he died December 19, 2019.

She was a member of the former Byhalia United Methodist Church and attended the Byhalia Friends Church. She had been a 4-H advisor for many years. Peggy was a kind and generous person to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by son, John R. (Katherine) Hamilton of Marion, and their children, Amanda (Zach) Baker, Sarah (Josh) Armstrong, Katelyn (James McCleese) Hamilton; daughter, Kathleen E. Hamilton of Seattle, WA, and her children, Shane Hamilton, Dominique (Sade) Devereux; son, Charlie (Christina) Hamilton of Lancaster and their children Olivia, and C.J. Hamilton, Zander, Charlotte, Zain, and Zaiver Whitaker. Great grandchildren: Kaleb, Rylee, Hayden, Colton, Garrison, Kalvyn, Zachariah, Kamryn and Neosha. Also surviving are a brother, Olen McAllister, Richwood; and a sister-in-law, Bea Williamson, Marion.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Jim Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM.

I was so sad to hear of Peg's passing. There are lots of memories during 4H days to the many years in the salon. Know that I am thinking of you all during this time and sending prayers of comfort. Hugs 💕

Peggy will be missed greatly . Her and Larry were great friends who stood by me in my lowest period in my life . I loved them both . I'm sorry for your loss.

Peg was the kindest, gentlest soul. When I got sick she was the first to ask about me and her card wishing me the best was my very first. Surely there is a special place for her in heaven.
