Jeanine Kay (Johnson) Diller Vejil
Jeanine Kay (Johnson) Diller VejilVioletJeanine Kay (Johnson) Diller Vejil, 71, died Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Houston, Texas from pancreatic cancer. She was born October 14, 1950, in Delaware to the late Francis and Letha (Ewing) Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet E. Ballinger and a brother, Donald F. Johnson.

Jeanine went to Business School after graduating high school in 1969 to pursue a career in Medical Transcription at a hospital in Indiana. Jeanine met and married her high school classmate, Daryl, and moved to Maryland where they had three children. After her first child was born, she quit working to be a homemaker.

On August 29, 1998 Jeanine married Daniel Vejil. She continued a career in Medical Transcription for several years before retiring early.

Jeanine is survived by her husband, Daniel Vejil; sister, Carol Butcher; son, David Diller; daughters, Sheri Becraft and Sarah Kelly, seven grandchildren; her first husband, Daryl Diller; her dog, Garland and cat, Sealy.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 27, 2022, Claire Brothers Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022 10:00 AM in Claibourne Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating.
