Jeane Sanders
Jeane SandersTap Dancing ShoesOur family is saddened to announce the passing of Jeane Sanders on May 10, 2022.

She was born in Cincinnati to the late Clarence and Daisy (Reedy) Mougey. Jeane was a resident of Marion, and formerly of LaRue. Jeane loved spending time with family and friends, Broadway musicals, dancing, cats, country music, and water sports of all kinds. A hard worker, Jeane actively sold real estate in Marion until she was in her eighties. She also owned and operated Brookside Pool on Somerlot Hoffman Road for over twenty years, teaching many of Marion’s children to swim.

Jeane is survived by her loving children:  Amy Piacentino of Marion, Ty Sanders of Cleveland, and Darcy (Brian) Grimes of China Grove, North Carolina. She is also survived by grandchildren Barrett Hall, Brennan Hall, Brice Hall, Shaharra (Sanders) Lazear, Connor Sanders, Slade Sanders, Sophia Sanders, Chase Grimes and great-grandchildren Adisyn Hall, Dominic Hall, Pierson Hall, Pfeiffer Hall, and Declan Lazear. She was preceded in death by husband Lionel (Sandy) Sanders, son J. Michael Sanders, and sister Eileen Harris.

A private graveside memorial service will be held for family at the LaRue Cemetery, Greg Field will officiate.

My sympathies to you. She was quite a spark of energy and cheerfulness. I remember her great farm cooking. I miss the get-togethers in Tennessee. Keep all the great memories close to you.
