Roger Eugene Hines
Roger Eugene HinesTrap ShooterRoger Eugene Hines, 61 of Lewistown, died Wednesday April 30, 2022 at his home.

He was born August 20, 1960 in Marion to the late Robert E. and Helen Jean (Wood) Hines, he was also preceded in a brother, Steve Hines.

He was a 1978 graduate of North Union High School and played football. He enjoyed coaching his boys in little league baseball and peewee football.

Roger retired from Honda Transmission in Russells Point in October of 2015 after 31 of years of service. He worked part time for a local farmer.

After retiring, Roger enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle, hunting and gardening. He enjoyed trap and target shotting. Roger enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and motorcycle flat track racing.

He was a good father, brother, son and friend. He was always a phone call away if you every needed a hand or just an ear to listen. He will be dearly missed.

Roger is survived by two sons, Kirby Hines of Cambridge, MA and Cody Hines of Columbus; a sister, Linda (John) Miller, Richwood; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hines, Marysville

Graveside services will be held Saturday May 21, 2022 at 11 am at the Price Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Lynn & Shelley Beeney's home located at 15021 Miller Road, Richwood, Saturday evening May 21 around 7 p.m. Please come and share your favorite memories and stories in remembrance of our friend   Roger Hines. “Hinzey”
