Virginia R. Baker
Virginia R. BakerRed Rose2Virginia R. Baker, 91 of Richwood, died peacefully Friday afternoon April 22, 2022 at her home.

She was born February 7, 1931 in Marion to the late Wells and Oda Mae (Munion) Wilson, she was also preceded in death by eight siblings.

Virginia was a 1949 graduate of the Marion Harding High School. She was retired from the former B. F. Goodrich/Parker Hannifin plant near Green Camp after 42 years.

Virginia was a talented crocheter, she was able to make her own clothes. She also enjoyed playing the organ, collecting Barbies and working and taking care of her beautiful flower garden. She loved her roses. Virginia had attended the Grace Baptist Church in Marion.
She enjoyed traveling, whether it be to another state or just a ride in the country, she was always up for a new adventure.

Surviving is her husband: Dennis W. Baker, they were married April 27, 1968 at the Richwood First United Methodist Church. Also surviving is her son: David (Linda) Mack of Hannibal and grandchildren: Krista Mack of Galion and John Mack of Hannibal
Step-sister: Elaine Chaffin of Washington

Private family services will be held at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, with private burial in the Price Cemetery. Pastor Lloyd Markley will officiate.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Viaquest Hospice, 171 Morey Dr Suite B, Marysville, OH 43040 and the Alzheimer’s Assn. 1379 Dublin Road Columbus, OH 43215

All of us that knew Virginia are all sharing in your grief.  She always had a beautiful smile, laugh, friendly, with a good sense of humor.
She was a strong woman, good wife and had a great work ethic.  I always enjoyed her hugs, conversations, and the pies !!  God got a wonderful woman !!
