Rachel Anita Crum
Rachel Anita CrumBasketball-NCAARachel Anita Crum, 77, longtime resident of Prospect, died Monday April 5, 2022 at the Vitas Hospice Unit in Naples Florida.

She was born December 3,1944 in Delaware to the late Lawrence E. and Joan (Neville) Fletcher, she was also preceded in death by her husband, W. Allan “Al” Crum, they were married May 6, 1967 at the Church of Christ in Marion and he died March 30, 2016.

Rachel was a homemaker and co-owner, along with her husband of All State Road Service & Truck Repair. She was a longtime dedicated member of the Richland Road Church of Christ.

Rachel was a huge fan of basketball, whether it was high school or college, it didn’t matter. She loved March Madness. She enjoyed making things for her family with her talents of crocheting and quilting. She also was a dedicated blood donor for the American Red Cross.

Surviving are her children: Valerie (Tracy) Deal of Ave Maria, FL; Brent (Cheryl) Crum of Richwood and Cheryl Crum of Ontario
Grandchildren: Cory (Tracy) Deal, Coconut Creek, FL; Kyle (Katelyn) Daniels, Marion, Austin Deal, Nashville, TN; Zak Larick, Marion, Courtney Collins, Ontario and Dustin (Alexandra) Collins, Fort Drum, NY
Great Grandchildren: Kason Daniels, Keeton Collins, Kinley Daniels, Kennedy Daniels, Ariella Collins, Harper Collins
Sisters: Regina Foos (Stan), Karen Bollinger (Kel) and Judy Mobley (Randy)

Funeral services will be held Monday April 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Richland Road Church of Christ, Pastor Russell Howard will officiate, burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect.

Memorial gifts may be made to Vitas Hospice, 4980 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 102 Naples, Florida 34103

Valerie, Kyle, Katie, Brent, Cheryl and family, this truly breaks my heart. I thought the world of Anita. She visited us often in Ohio and we talked frequently on the phone. She and I shared lots of memories about our grandson, Kyle. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. She loved her family and would do anything she could for them.
