Larry Clifford Ball
Larry Clifford BallTrain-Erie RRLarry Clifford Ball, 81 of Marion died Friday, April 1, 2022 at Embassy of Marion.

He was born April 10, 1940 in Prospect to the late Clifford and Ruth (Miley) Ball. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lauretta (Brown) Ball.

Larry retired from the Erie Railroad and moved to Arizona. He lived in Arizona until his wife’s death in 2019. Larry loved his family. He and his wife enjoyed spending time with their Arizona friends and visiting California. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and attending the Indianapolis 500 in his younger years.

He is survived by his children, Matthew (Tammy) Ball, Caledonia; Rick (Lori) Williams, Marion; Randy Williams, Indiana; Ron (Sunny) Williams, Kansas; Fred Williams, Marion; Paula (Brian) Lewer, Delaware; Debbie Williams, Marion; Stephanee Borer, Bucyrus; three sisters, Patricia Reed, Lancaster; Janet Reece, Delaware; Linda (Ed) McCafferty, Richwood; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 12:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect with Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215

Dear Pat, Jan, and Linda,
Sending my condolences to you on Larry's passing.  I have so many childhood memories of Bud riding his bicycle around the neighborhood.  As I looked through the obituaries, I was struck by the fact that 3 are from our old neighborhood, Bud, Evelyn's husband, and my mother a few weeks ago.  Take care...
