Cynthia Anne Fillinger
Cynthia Anne Fillinger4-HCynthia Anne Fillinger 71, formerly of Richwood, died February 10, 2022 at the Truman Point Care Center in Hillard.

She was born November 17, 1950 in Columbus to the late Douglas and Judith (Forney) Elliott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Leland Fillinger, they were married January 6, 1969 in Greenup, Kentucky, he died June 10, 2017.

Cyndi was a graduate of the North Union High School. She was a true community person, her life was spent serving any way she could. Cyndi served her community as the North Union High School secretary, Richwood Independent Fair Secretary, NUAC Board Member and her favorite, 4 -H Advisor.

Surviving are her children: Kelleen (Larry) Marioth of Thornville, Breht (Franny) Fillinger of Richwood and Amber (Chris) Hetteburg of Thornville.
Grandchildren: ReAnne Daye, Elliott (Kenzie) Bigler and Jacob Huff

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Cyndi's life on Tuesday March 15, 2022 from 5-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.

On behalf of NU Class of 1968, we are so sorry for the loss of our classmate.   Some of her greatest joys was being with us during countless class lunches, reunions and and other get-togethers.  We miss you.  May God rest your soul.

So sorry for your loss.  I still have the angel ornament that a bunch of us girls got at a party Kelli had years ago.  I think of Kelli and Cyndi each year I hang it on our Christmas tree.  I remember Cyndi was a a very talented lady.  May you rest in peace.  Sending prayers.

I have wonderful memories of our friendship over the years- 4-H activities, Ohio Young Farmers Association, our craft club- Cyndi gave her heart to everything she did, and her presence in our community will surely be missed.
