Betty L. HildrethRed Rose2Betty L. Hildreth, 82 of Richwood, died Thursday January 6, 2022 at the Promedica Nursing Home in Marion.

She was born March 11, 1939 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late William and Mellie (Trustee) Hicks, she was also preceded in death by sisters: Iretta Conley Penix and Ida Conley

Betty was a homemaker and a good cook; she was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews.

In 1964 in York Center, she married Lee Allen Hildreth and he survives. Also surviving are brothers: Payne (Reca) Patrick and Bill (Sue) Hicks and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 12 noon at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officate, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 11 am at the funeral home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the funeral home to help with unexpected expenses.

My love, prayers, and condolences go out to the family. Betty was my aunt that I barely knew. I spent a little time at her house when I was a child. She was loving and caring to my brother and me. I’ll never forget her.
