So sorry - I remember many years ago my husband and I rented a house on East Blagrove Street to the Rardon family when they were coming or going from their missionary work.  Lovely family. God be with all Carl Rardon's loved ones.   Mrs. George

Carl helped shepherd many of us at Honda into the digital age.
Through his Excel training courses that he conducted with diligence and patience; to his leadership in introducing cell phones and Wi-Fi to the organization.  More importantly, Carl was very principled and devout.  It was hard not to be impacted by his positive attitude and the self-less way he conducted himself daily.
More recently, I really enjoyed the opportunities to catch up with Carl at Roosters.  We would talk about family, which Presidential biography he was reading.  Every time I met Carl, he would always ask me how my nephew Mitch, who had brain cancer, was doing.
He never forgot his name, nor his situation.  That was who Carl was…always thinking and caring for others.  Deepest condolences to Lauren and family!

Dear Lauren,
Oh I just saw this and am so sorry to hear of Carls death.  I will try to make it to his memorial service.
Beyond this vale of tears there is a life above, Unmeasured by the flight of years and all that life is love.  That short poem has always meant a lot to me in my losses.
May Our Gracious God grant you peace through all this sorrow.

Most important Carl Was a loving husband to Lauren. He taught his sons David, Stephen & Matthew how to be good men through his example and he was a dedicated son to his parents and brother & sisters, Clifford, Marcella & Judith. Know one could ask for a better person to know.

I only knew Carl for a short time via MTC, but it was a true blessing to have that time with him. May the family find peace by remembering the good times you shared and knowing what a good man he was.

Carl,

I'm so sad to see you go so soon and suddenly. I fondly remember the lunches that we shared together every Tuesday for years at the Honda cafeteria. We shared about our deep struggles, our children, our small victories. It was a precious time that we could spend to share our joys and sorrows and bring them all to our Savior Jesus. I remember the frequent side splitting laughter and moments of pure hilarity we gave each other. Thank you for being a joyful part of my life brother. Thank you for holding me accountable to being a committed follower of Jesus. Thank you for praying for me and for my family. Thank you for modeling for me what it looks like to be a godly husband, father, brother and a friend. I will miss you brother. I love you and I will see you when the Lord calls my number.

Dearest cousin, Lauren.
Jeff and I remember fondly our time with you and Carl in San Antonio.  While I have known you all your life, it was a joy to spend time getting to know your wonderful dear husband, Carl.  We are profoundly sorry for your loss.  God's love and your faith will help you through this difficult time.  Poppy told me when I was a teenager that I should remember when he passed on that he was going to be with his Lord and Master he served throughout his life and to keep that thought foremost in my grief.  Carl is also a loving exemplary servant of our Savior.
We love you dearly and please contact me ANYTIME you need.
Hugs,
Sandie

To the family of Carl.
I worked at Honda R&D America Inc/LLC for many years with Carl.
Sometimes you never take the time to really get to know people such as Carl who dedicated much of his life to helping the needy - not only in the USA but other countries.
I just saw Carl at the Honda Retiree breakfast at the Der Dutchman restaurant in October of this year for the first time after he retired.
As I tell many people that lose someone when you have those bad days just keep remembering all those good memories for the days that Carl was living.
And keep in mind that he now in his heavenly body that will no longer be suffering.

I am so very sorry to learn of Carl's passing. He was a senior at Utica High School where I was a freshman, and Carl always treated me as an equal, with kindness and respect, which was the exception to the rule. I have never forgotten the example he set for me and an untold number of others. Godspeed Carl.

Condolences to the Rardon family for the loss of a very special man.  Mr. Rardon was my high school Chemistry and Trig teacher at Ida High School (Ida, MI).  He was also our track coach, steering us to several conference championships.  He lead by example.  He was an extremely bright, intense, quiet, dutiful and God-fearing man.  I had tremendous respect for him, as did my classmates.  May he rest in peace.

Mr. Rardon was my math teacher and High School track coach at Ida High School in Ida Michigan. He started there the same fall I transferred in as a Senior in the fall of 1978. The sequence of math classes was different but he gave me extra help even if if meant coming early in the morning on his motorcycle from Toledo in late October!
