Douglas Wayne Rayburn
Douglas Wayne RayburnGuitar GuildDouglas Wayne Rayburn, 58 of Marion, died Wednesday December 15, 2021 at the Marion General Hospital.

He was born January 10, 1963 in Marion to the late Thomas Stephen and Joyce M. (Daniels) Rayburn. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Alma Murphy, nephew Roger Rayburn II and niece Crystal Belcher.

Doug was a skilled guitarist. He had even written some of his own songs. His favorite type of music was country. He was also a 1st Degree Black Belt in Shorindo Kempo many years ago. Doug was a 1981 graduate of the Elgin High School.

Surviving are his siblings: Paul (Rose) Rayburn Sr. of Columbus, Roger Rayburn I of LaRue and Rhonda (Phil) Belcher of Marengo
His children: Jennifer, April and Doug Jr.
Many grandchildren
Nieces and nephews: Terri (Rob) Gottfried, Skylee, Arison and Hali, Paul Rayburn Jr. and Jessica Racey
His girlfriend: Barb Wilson and her family

There will a Gathering of Family and Friends Monday December 20, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue. Final interment will be in the LaRue Cemetery.
