I met Kathy while I was working part time at Lowe’s.  Everyone loved her there. She was always kind and liked to joke around with people by calling us nicknames that she gave us. I was always Miss Ella to her.  Kathy was a dear sweet lady that I am blessed to call my friend.  At last she can rest and watch over all the children  grandchildren and great grandchildren  from heaven.

She was such a wonderful, beautiful person in and out.  I will miss her greatly. Few people leave such a profound impact on the world as what Kathy Did to the people she came into contact with. Always kind and always a joy to be around.

Oh Miss Kathy as I called her. She was the ultimae sweetheart. Always a smile and kind word for those around her. Worked with her for 5 years at Lowe's and she made work fun. She was ornery, happy, loving and kind. Even when she did not feel well. I will miss our talks, and the laughs we shared together. I will miss being her "body guard" in the mornings when she was putting money in the registers, and her calling me "Christiniaaaa". Rest in Heaven Kathy...until we meet again.

What an incredible lady I was lucky enough to meet and actually work with at Lowe's. She was such a joy to others and brightened any room with that smile! I am so fortunate to have known such a remarkable lady and was able to call her Sunshine. She truly brightened my day! I will miss you my friend!

Oh Kathy, how you and I teased each other at Lowe’s and then the day you were being discharged at Marion General. You looked so good that day, and being yourself telling me you were going to Delaware for rehab. I had no idea that would b the last time I would see you. May you fly high honey, I know everyone loved you, how could they not? ❤️🕊

She's one of the people who always look forward to seeing in fing bingo. We would always crack each other with our one liners, and would be laughing are butt's off. It was a riot, with tears streaming down on everyone faces. She was the life of the party. If anyone needing advice about a problem that they might have going on in their life. If she doesn't know what to do in some situation. She is not afraid to tell you that she doesn't know.she is a prayer worrier. I'm so sorry for you and your family lose. We will be praying for you all.

Mom,
Where do I even begin, I'm still in shock..I wish it weren't true. I lay here remembering every moment spent with u, all our heart to heart conversations and all the times u were there for me, my rock..my comfort and my care unconditionally selflessly. The bond we shared was unbreakable, I regret not spending more time with u past 2 years while I was trying to rebuild myself I knew u understood and rooted for me off in the distance and was proud of me for doing what needed to be done after falling on my face fighting issues I knew u loved me and I will forever love u and il be missing u everyday always..we were not done yet but heaven needed someone as special as u up above. I pray u watch over us all down here and continue to guide me through tough times. U were an amazing mother in law, friend, grandma...I love u mom rest in peace beautiful. U may be gone but can never be forgotten!!!

We so wanted to come to the funeral home to pay our respects, but circumstances did not let it happen. Kathy was a good soul who cared about everyone. She also loved to laugh. Our sympathy goes out to her brothers and sister. There is no pain any longer. She is at peace.
