John David (Dave) Lewis
John David (Dave) LewisAccountingJohn David (Dave) Lewis, of Marion, peacefully passed away on November 29, 2021, surrounded by his loving family following a courageous fight with Parkinson's disease.

Dave was born in Kenton on July 26, 1950, to John E. and Jocelyn (Evans) Lewis. Dave grew up on a farm outside Richwood, and graduated from North Union High School in 1968. After graduation, Dave attended Bowling Green State University, where he  met the love of his life, Carol (Giauque). Dave and Carol celebrated their 51st year of marriage in July. During his career, Dave worked as an accountant, civil servant, and IT manager, but his greatest accomplishment was being father to his daughter Krissy and supporting and cheering her on in every sport, activity, and event she participated.

Dave is survived by his wife Carol Lewis of Marion, daughter Krissy Lewis of Evergreen, Colorado, sister Debra Lewis of Marion, brother Steve (Ruth) Lewis of Raymond, sister-in-law Sharon (Chuck) Russell, and many nieces and nephews.

The Lewis family would like to thank their extended village for their love and support through Dave's journey with Parkinson's disease: his sister Debra Lewis, sister-in-law Sharon Russell, brother-in-law Chuck Russell, Beth Hensel, Ian Cooper, Cheri Harrod, Samantha McCurdy, and Dr. Heather Columber.
