It's been a long time since Gale and Marilyn and I were neighbors on North Clinton Street.  It is with fond memories that I send my condolences to Gale's family.  God bless you all as you walk this path.  His Gazette articles about the history of this area will be a living legacy. I especially liked the one about how he met Marilyn at Anderson's Dairy Delite.

My Brother Jim was a dear friend of Gales. He and Jim ran track together , road scooter together, climbed the water together and generally had fun and got in trouble together. He spent a lot of time in our home. Always a kind word for both Jim and I when we returned to town on a visit. My regards to his family.

To the family of Gale.  Jani and I were saddened to hear the loss of Gale.  He was a good co-worker as a teacher and as a fellow coach for some pretty good track teams.  He was a good guy in every way, as a friend, co-worker and as a parent.  He was also active in his church and in the community.  He checked all the boxes in a positive way.  And that included being a good friend.  Our thoughts go out to the family knowing you will miss him but remember him fondly.  Virg Rankink
