Just remembering all the times with Kenny and Rick (Penny too) fishing and playing ball and getting into mischief growing up around the corner. Patty was like a second mom when I was growing up hauling us around to ball games, making sure we had food in our bellies, or being our mom doctor patching us up from the latest crazy stunt that we had pulled. Also later when Jim and his sons came into her life many more good memories. Lots of really good memories of Patty and how kind and sweet she was....always forgiving of the rotteness of an added ornery, crazy neighbor boy that hung out and made some extra trouble. Patty always had lot of extra love to give.

Patty was a true friend, always available to pull me out of troubled times. Your friendship has meant the world to me and the hole your death leaves in my heart will never heal. Rest in the presence of Jesus my dear friend.

I am saddened by the loss of Patty. She was one of the strongest, kindest women I knew. We shared a lot of stories especially after her son Kenny began his decline. She always treated me as a son, and I liked having a second Mom. I cannot count the number of people she's touched or the generations she has influenced. I hope then when my time comes she will vouch for me and say, "he deserves to be hear." I hope she can fly with the eagles and swim with the dolphins. I hope that she can find the time to watch over me from time to time. Rest easy Patty. I will see you again someday.

Ohhh my sweet “Mom”…as I sit here alone in the darkness, I think of all that you have taught me! All that I have learned from you! And trying to make it all make sense is more than I can do right now! My tears flow down my cheeks, and my thoughts take me back to when I was a little girl sitting on your lap playing with your finger nails. You being  my softball coach or riding all those boys to ball practice in the backend of the VW rabbit! Camping with you and grandpa! Christmas mornings making homemade cinnamon rolls, canning tomatoes, making apple pies, Cornday at the Crager house, learning how to make homemade grape jelly, and most of all, you being there when I had your grand babies! You were always there Mom no matter what! The values and morales you taught me, live in my children to this day! Thank you for being the Best Mom and being there for me always! I will cherish every memory of you that comes in my thoughts and dreams! I just hope and pray I can be as good as “Grandma” as you someday! I’m sooo glad I got to call you “My Mom!” Your work here is done, and you’ve  done a wonderful job! It’s time for you to go, only from our sight, never from our HEARTS! Go rest High on that Mountain Mom! Until I feel your loving arms again!
I Love You Mom!

Penny, we are saddened to hear of your mom's passing.  I'm sure besides Jesus welcoming her to heaven, not only were her mom & dad there but also my Grandma Shirley and my mom Betty.  We loved Patty and knew what a good wife, mother, and grandmother she was.  Her life was not an easy one but it was made bright by her love of her Lord and her family and friends.  Hugs and prayers for all of you.

Grandma,
You were such a fighter. You were so strong. You were such a perfect human.
There’s so many things I want to say. The one who didn’t have to be, the one that never left my side and the one that showed me what true unconditional love is in life. You are the one that I knew I could go to with anything and never be judged, but boy would I hear one of those lectures sometimes when you didn’t agree, but you still loved me no matter what. I’m not sure how this day has came but I would do anything for just one more day, one more day to wash your hair, one more day to take a nap with you, one more goodnight text, one more drive with you anything in this world I would do over and over with you. I’m really lost with out you grandma already, forever with you by our sides wouldn’t have even been long enough. My heart hurts, but I know I have to “put my big girl pants on” as you would always say. Thank you for everything you ever did for me, you were such a beautiful human, I can only imagine the angel you are now. Spread your wings, and fly grandma.
“You will always be my grandma”  “And you will always be mine”

And I love you 💕
Until I see you next time.

What a beautiful and special lady who has touched so many hearts including mine. Being with her everyday filled my heart. The stories, crying, laughter, hugs, and love will always be with me. I am so lost without her,and I can see her giving me "the look". Being loved as family is such a special blessing. Momma I will always love you and thanks for loving me!
