Larry Davis is my Mentor. I love Jesus Christ today because of his life example, his firm confidence in the Gospel and his persistent love for me. My love of tractor pulls, farming, and my understanding of the awesomeness of forgiveness came from him. He patiently taught me to drive 'three on the tree' in his pickup truck and taught me to drive a tractor when I was about 10 years old; he even held his tongue when I drove his riding lawn mower as my personal ATV all summer. Larry is a gem that I will always thank God for. He ran the race and he finished well! 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

God fearing, family loving, patriotic, man of God. He was a pillar in the church. Always had a testimony and a catchy phrase that would stick with you. He lived a faithful life. He is present with the Lord now and I pray and trust that gives the family much needed comfort and grace.

A fine man and a good role model. I have many fond memories of working at Rockwell with Larry. He and my Dad were co-workers as electricians at Rockwell. Spent a lot of time as members of the Rockwell Fire Brigade. He'll be missed. Praying for the entore family.

Rex and Laura along with your families: I want to send my heartfelt sympathy. Larry along with Nancy and each of you have been dear neighbors for 40 years. Each day over the past decade I would look across the front yard towards Larry’s house for the open garage door. If it was up, then I knew he was alright. I loved to hear his stories when I would walk across the road to share baked items or if I saw him sitting in his garage watching the world drive by. I will deeply miss him along with his texts on my phone. Thank you all for sharing him.

Dear family and friends of Larry.
On behalf of my family we send our deepest sympathy to you all.
It was Larry Davis who at the age of 17 introduced my mom and dad Ray and Janet Webb at the Richwood Lake for the very first time.70 years ago.
My parents loved Larry dearly and have always spoke so highly of the wonderful man he was to all.
I will always remember him as a man who put the Lord 1st in his life. Was blessed to know him.
I remember dad taking me to their farm as a young boy many times to go Rabbit hunting.
What a celebration there is in Heaven tonight.
May you all feel the Peace and love that passes all understanding at this time.
Sending love hugs and prayers for you all.
In Christ love.
The Webb’s

Laura, Rex and family, I can hear the joy and love in Heaven as Larry and Nancy are together again. ❤ I know it was hard to say goodbye to your loving father, but you knew he was ready to meet our Lord and Savior. I was blessed to know your parents and spend time in their home, admiring the love they had for each other and the King! God be with you and your family in the days to come. Love, Mary

We met Larry at the Richwood Civic Center in 2012 and immediately became good friends. He was such a dear, kind man. He truly loved God and people. We enjoyed several visits in his home and many phone calls. His favorite hymn was When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder and he always wanted us to sing it each time we visited; even over the phone. Larry will indeed be missed. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Rex, Julie and family, our prayers and thoughts are with you. May God bless and comfort your hearts.
