Betty was my mother's niece and her confidant.  She and "Aunt Olidel" were very close from the time of Betty's birth when Olidel was a teenager to the time of my mother's death.  Although she had no children of her own, she loved her brothers' and sister's children and she was very important in their lives as they have been in her life.  Rest in peace, dear soul

Betty was a special person. She took wonderful care of our little cocker spaniel when we went on vacation each year. Her loving care enabled us to travel, confident that Gretchen was in good hands. Rest in peace dear friend.
