Courtnie Danielle Beltz
Courtnie Danielle BeltzRed Rose2Courtnie Danielle Beltz, born March 23, 1987 to Vernon D. and Stacie W. of Prospect, passed unexpectedly on June 9, 2021 in her current home of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her brother Kelton Beltz, and grandparents, William (Bill) & Phyllis Beltz, and Lois Reese.

Courtnie is survived by her parents, and grandfather, Robert (Bob) Reese, brothers, Quinton Beltz, and Coleton Beltz, and sisters Kendell (Mathew) Cherry and Kaitlin (Daniel) Rice, nephews, Jacob Cherry, Kayden Cherry, Brewer Rice, and Jensen Beltz, and nieces, Shyan Cherry and Lexi Rice, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Courtnie was a 2005 graduate of North Union High School, receiving her vocational license for Cosmetology through Tri-Rivers Career Center. Her independence and drive led her to pursue Cosmetology along with Home Health Care for 15 years before her passion for adventure and poker led her to Las Vegas, Nevada in September of 2020. She insisted on being true to herself and following her dreams.

While she never had children of her own, she devoted herself to her greatest love, Gizmo, her Jack Russell Chihuahua mix. The two were inseparable and he accompanied her on every adventure. He will be left to adventure without her. She however was quick to love, and spoil her nieces and nephews, as long as she could send them back home! She refused to let fear keep her from the life she wanted to live. She will forever be remembered for her free spirit, humor, and authenticity. She was unapologetically herself, unique, and beautiful and wild in the best way.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 3 to 7 PM at Dry Lane Construction, 376 Dry Lane Road South in LaRue where a brief memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM.

Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
