Beatrice A. Hamilton
Beatrice A. HamiltonGardeningBeatrice A. Hamilton, 91 of Zanesfield, formerly of Richwood, died peacefully Thursday, May 13, 2021 at home.

She was born May 3, 1930 in York Center to the late William Harold and Charlotte (Lee) Fawley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Hamilton, Sr., whom she married on January 14, 1950 in York Center and he died November 21, 2018; and a brother, Kenneth Fawley.

She had worked as a housekeeping supervisor for Courtyard in Dublin. Beatrice was an avid bowler for many years. She loved gardening, mowing and doing outside work. She had worked for many years for the Union County Board of Elections in York Township. In her later years, she enjoyed doing puzzles and reading.

She is survived by three sons, Robert J. Hamilton Jr., Cheboygan, Michigan; Kevin Lee (Kay) Hamilton, Heath; Brian Keith Hamilton, Springfield; two daughters, Rebecca J. (Nick) Penhorwood, Zanesfield; Lori Ann (Doug) Hartman, Richwood; grandchildren, Nikki J. (James) Devall-Craft, Jennifer J. (Jim) Rafferty, Jason C. (Cheri) Penhorwood, Linda Lynn (Jerry) Stotlee, Kevin Lee Hamilton II, Robert J. Hamilton III, Brandi Nicole Hamilton, Benjamin Jacob (Amy) Hamilton, Crystal (Dan) Hiser, Danielle (Carl) Ryan; great-grandchildren, James DeVall, Ericka DeVall, Cory DeVall, Jessica Bergum, Noel Rafferty, Cody Penhorwood, Chandler and Cyler Curtis, Madison, Kolbi and Abigale Hamilton, Andrew, Russell, Joey Madison, Whitney Hiser; Caleb and Eli Ryan; great-great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Kaylynn and Kameron Graver; two sisters, Bernice Hamilton, Marysville; Grace Quest, Uniontown and a sister-in-law, Betty Richardson, Marion.

Friends may call Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM at the York Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating.

Memorial gifts may be given to R. E. A. P. Food Pantry, 235 Grove Street, Richwood, OH 43344

I am so saddened by the passing of your Mom.  She was such a nice lady.  One of the great comforts when our parents pass is knowing they have rejoined the one they spent almost their entire lives with.  Again, my condolences to all.

so sorry to hear the passing of your mom had to look and think I always knew her as Peg spent several years as neighbors with you guys and in school also know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers so hard when mom passes just something about loosing mom....RIP dear ole friend and neighbor

My heart is broken to see the passing of Peg this morning.  A great neighbor for many years. Also very happy that Lori brought her to see us just a few short weeks ago. Rest in peace my dear friend.
