Larry Schultz
Larry SchultzLarry FishingLawrence “Larry” Schultz, 75 of Richwood, died Sunday afternoon May 9, 2021 at his home.

He was born October 8, 1945 in Marion to the late George and Helen (Taylor) Schultz. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Laura Schultz and siblings: Betty Pierce, Junior, Donald, Gerald, Ronald and Richard Schultz and in-laws: Joe Nunez, Claude Pierce, Bonnie Schultz and Barb Schultz.

Larry was a 1963 graduate of the Radnor High School. He retired in 1996 from Sunray/Amana in Delaware after working there 32 years. He was also a farmer.

He was a long-time dedicated member of the Fulton Creek Friends Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and singing.

Larry was definitely a “people person”, he was one of those guys that always made you feel welcome, and you usually left him with a smile on your face.
He was also known to enjoy ice cream now and then and was what one might call “little bit ornery”.

Surviving is his wife Catherine (Adams) Schultz, they were married April 25, 1970 at the Fulton Creek Friends Church. Also surviving are his daughters: Cheryal Haas of Powell and Christina (G.O.) Justus of Plain City.
Grandchildren: Kelsey and Maggie Haas and Avery, Owen, Elliott and Eli Hecht.
Siblings: Carolyn Nunez of Winona Lake, Indiana, Janet (Gene) Guiley of Canton, Glenn (Judy) Schultz of Richwood and Wayne (Barbara) Schultz of Richwood.
Sister-in-law: Marie Schultz of Richwood, Judy Schultz of Prospect and Barbara Schultz of Radnor

Funeral services will be held Friday May 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Fulton Creek Friends Church, Pastors Dennis Peters and Jacob Hayward will officiate. Burial will follow in the Radnor Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3-7 pm at the church.

Cathy and family, I've so enjoyed Larry over the years. He'd always brighten my day when we would cross paths on the back road and chat. If Nate and I saw him coming we made sue to flag him the drive to catch up on the deer sightings. He will be missed. Our prayers to you and the family.
