Melodi Ann WeiserMelodi Ann Weiser, 66 of Ostrander, died Friday evening April 30, 2021 at the Marion General Hospital.

She was born December 27, 1954 in Delaware to the late Dale and Dorthea Faye (Hypes) Chapman, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Chapman.

Melodi was a very hard-working person, she retired in 2019 from American Showa in Sunbury after 23 years.
She loved to travel, whether it was all around Ohio or to the Southwestern United States to see the Grand Canyon or maybe a stop in Las Vegas, she loved going!

Surviving is her husband, Dale Weiser, they were married February 2, 2ooo at their home, two sons: Harley Kitchen of Ostrander and Will Kitchen of Marion
Grandchildren: Serenity Howell, Quinn Kitchen and Cambria Kitchen
Brothers: Stephen (Yayon) Chapman of Apex, North Carolina and Kevin (Shauna) Chapman of Richwood.

Private burial will take place at the Claibourne Cemetery.

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is assisting the family.

So sorry to hear this. I grew up down the street from her and played with her. We reunited working together at Delaware Court Nursing home in the early 90’s. Enjoyed being around her, such a sweet soul. Prayers for her husband, children, grandchildren and family. 🙏

My thoughts and prayers to Mel's family.  Mel was such a fun friend to do things with.  The fun we had on our trips and the laughter we had, I will always cherish. She was such a caring, funny, happy person to be around, we will all miss her so much. She loved her family a lot.

Mel you are going to be missed. I will always remember you walking the grandkids to the bridge with a walking stick in your hands. Teaching them how to have fun. You are at peace now and will be missed. RIP Mel.
