Tonya A. Felchlin
Tonya A. FelchlinRed Rose2 Tonya A. Felchlin, age 63 of Marion, passed away peacefully Monday April 26, 2021 at the Glenwood Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Dublin.

Toni was born November 4th, 1957 in Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kathleen Felchlin and Donna and Tom Solomon, a sister Debra Smart and a brother, Michael Felchlin.

Surviving are a sister, Colleen Harbin of Marion, brother Ryan (Laurie) Felchlin of Lewis Center, longtime friend Carol Richardson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She retired from GTE/Verizon in 2009 after 33 years. Her retirement job was working in the cafeteria at Pleasant Local Schools.

She took great pride in her home and large property. It kept her busy, which is what she liked and it showed. Her many friends were always welcome. Entertaining them could have been a pond party, barn party, OSU football or gathering around a campfire. She hosted many family reunions and gatherings. She had a great love of animals, especially her dogs and also enjoyed her cars. She was a strong, independent woman who did things her way and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by all.

A life well-lived deserves to be celebrated, not mourned, therefore, there will be a Celebration of Life to honor Toni in the future.

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is assisting the family.

Colleen, I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is not easy to say good bye. Although I did not know her, it sounds like she was a great person. I can only assume it runs in the family.  Thinking of you and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Toni was one of a kind, to be sure.  My children and I knew her back in the late '70's, early 80's.  She was a hoot, as us oldsters used to say.  Didn't know she was ill.  RIP, Toni...and if you see Mo up there, tell him I said 'Hi'!  Good thoughts to her remaining family and friends.

Toni, Toni, Toni, you loved your family and friends and lived life with a big generous heart. In all my years, I have never known any person with more friends than you. You knew no strangers. We have all learned from your example. I can see you mowing your grass in your blue tube top. Your smile and laugh was contagious and why laugh if you don't snort😊 ❤️
