Gerald T. Fox
Gerald T. FoxFlagGerald T. Fox, 88 of Prospect, died Wednesday morning February 10, 2021 at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

He was born January 11, 1933 in Marion County (Centerville) to the late Playford and Ruth (Hoch) Fox, he was also preceded in death by brothers: Virgil, Denzil and James Fox, sister: Shirley Utley, 2 infant brothers and 2 infant sisters and one grandson.

Gerald was a 1952 graduate of the Prospect High School. He served our country in the United States Army.
Gerald was a printer, having worked for the Prospect Monitor, Mansfield News Journal, Marion Star, Peoples Printing Shop and the Marion Engineer Depot.

Surviving is his wife, Anna Marie (Ferriman) Fox, they were married July 2, 1955 in Marion. Also surviving are their children: William (Chris) Fox of Galloway, Faye Fox Roszman of Marion and Robert (Peou) Fox of Prospect
8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
Sisters: Delores Connor of Marion and Sharon Adams of Caledonia

Public graveside services will be held Saturday March 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Prospect Cemetery, Pastor Ty Williams will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Ann and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you today as you mourn the loss of Gerald. He was such a good neighbor kid and then later, a wonderful neighbor to Peggy and Tom down on Main St. May his memories comfort you in the days ahead.

Annie, Bill Fay, Robbie and grandchildren I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Smokes passing.  He was such a kind man, made me laugh alot. I will truly miss him.  Sending love and hugs to you all😪💔
