Few years back a good friend of mine,Gordon McDonald asked me...Want to go fishing. he told me, I'm going fishing with myself and great fishing buddy, named Tim. I said, I would love to go fishing with you. Special occasion to get to go fishing with Gordon McDonald and Tim Peria. I didn't really know a whole lot about Tim. I know he was a Pastor, his wife taught at DSC. Taught my kids Shayla, Jackie and Matt. The first time we went fishing, I got to meet Tim. I really think we hit it off great & being competitive catching fish.... we had a great time going out on lake Erie with Gordon, catching them walleyes. Going fishing is Tim's passion, he loved it, he was pretty good catching them too. Love being on the lake. He really like going fishing with Gordon and I. Gordon has asked me to go fishing with him and Tim several more times overs the years. Every time we go out we have an absolute great time. I always see Tim's face, when he would catch a fish big or small, he loved it, could see it in his eyes.... I considered Tim to be a great friend, A great fishing buddy. All I can say to Tim today is....don't catch all those  Saugeye befor I get up there....

Dear Joy, Chris & Julie  it saddens my heart to know of  your husband, & father’s passing.   I do recall when you first started attending OBBC. Then you answered Gods call to be his servant, there was no looking back. I’m sure when Jesus said, “we’ll done my faithful servant, welcome home”.  I could just imagine the smile on your face.  You will be physically missed by many, but one day we shall all be together again. With Love Lillian

How embarrassed I am to make a spelling error on a condolence message to school teachers. Tim is not lost, you know exactly where he is. You didn't lose him, he has just left this earth ahead of us. I enjoyed our car pooling days to DCS. He was always so friendly and kind. I know he will be missed by many. May God comfort you all.

Michelle and I send our deepest sympathies to Joy, Chris, Julie and the rest of Tim’s family. Tim and Joy have been such great friends to my parents for as long as I can remember and I know Tim will be sorely missed. One of my fondest memories growing up in NJ is our fishing trip to Lake George with Tim. He knew the area well and took my dad and me to all the best places. A funny memory is the roll of saran wrap that we got from Tim when he worked at I believe Ecko Products. We had that roll of saran for years and I thought it would last a lifetime. May God be with you during what I’m sure is a difficult season of life right now.   Dean & Michelle Hammond
