Billy Jim (B.J.) Frasher was born March 7, 1925 in Kenova, West Virginia.

He served in the Navy in both the European and Pacific theaters during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service after the Battle of Saint-Raphael.

His first career was in production management in the paper industry, and he had a second career as a parole officer and addiction counselor for the State of Mississippi. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Ramona June (Gamble) Frasher was born November 19, 1928 in Meeker, Ohio.

After high school she studied to become a hairdresser. During WWII she performed in an all-girls dance band that entertained at military bases. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star.

B.J. and Ramona met while roller skating and were married June 9, 1947. Ramona passed away on December 5, 2020 and B.J. on December 9, 2020 at L&M Hospital in New London, CT from COVID 19. They were married 73 years and remained together until the end, as they wished.

They are survived by their children; Steven (Stephenie) Frasher of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, Vickie (James) Meyers of Quaker Hill, Connecticut, and Cathy Frasher of Jacksonville, Florida.
They are also survived by grandchildren; Jason Frasher, Sarah Frasher, and Chet Adamcewicz,
great-grandchildren Twylah Cunningham, Frayah Wilkey, Sebastian Giordano, Lincoln and Leyton Adamcewicz, and great-great grandchildren Lio and Elena Chavez.

The family would like to thank Greentree Manor Nursing Home, L&M Hospital and Beacon Hospice for their kindness, care and support.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to one of these organizations or the charity of your choice.

Burial will be private with a memorial service held in the future at the Frame Cemetery, Meeker, Ohio.
