Caroline E. Jones
Caroline E. JonesSewingCaroline E. Jones, 86, of LaRue, died Sunday morning December 6, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 15, 1934 on the Huntley family farm near LaRue to the late Homer and Gertrude (Moore) Huntley, she was also preceded in death by a son in law: Terry Gibson, siblings: Robert Huntley, Virginia Morris and Betty French.

An avid sewer and quilter, she was very crafty with her hands. Caroline was a long-time, dedicated member of the LaRue Baptist Church, as well as the Good Friends Club in LaRue.

Surviving is her husband, Walter Jones, they were married October 25, 1953 at the LaRue Baptist Church. Also surviving are their children: Gloria (Wayne) Crist of Richwood, Donna (Harry) Baker of LaRue, Dale (Pam) Jones of LaRue, and Linda Gibson of LaRue.
Grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Gamble, Jeremy (Tena) Crist, Jarrod (Angela) Crist, Michael Mills, Melissa Mills, Melinda (Travis) Fields, Dustin (Deanna) Jones, Danielle (Joe) Ball, William Jones, Meagan Jones, Lindsay (Jeramey) Smith, and Ryan (Billie Jo) Gibson, as well as 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Sisters: Geneva Hatcher and Patty Crager, both of LaRue
Brother-in-law: Raymond and Janice Jones of Richwood

Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at the LaRue Baptist Church(strict covid precautions will be enforced), Pastor Tim Pasma will officiate. Burial will follow in the LaRue Cemetery. Private family calling hours will be held.
