Vivian Marie Farrington |
  Vivian Marie Farrington, 88, of Kissimmee, Florida formerly of Richwood, Ohio passed away Friday, September 11, 2020.
She was born on July 23, 1932 in Rushsylvania, Ohio to Bonnie and Rev. C.L. Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bob Farrington, who passed away October 13, 2014, her parents, her sister Jewell Inez Ray, two brothers, Bill and Chuckie Harris.
From the time Vivian was a little girl she wanted a horse of her own. Her husband purchased a horse by the name of Rambling Willie. Since it was close to her birthday, he gave the horse to her as a present. Vivian’s other passion was her faith in Jesus Christ and sharing it with others.
Little did she know that her vision for spreading God’s word would come through her horse, Rambling Willie. Willie had many racing injuries and illnesses that would end the career of many horses, but Vivian’s prayers and faith helped to turn Rambling Willie into a Hall of Fame Champion. A book was written about Willie called “Rambling Willie, The Horse That God Loved”. This enabled Rambling Willie and Vivian to travel nationwide spreading the word of God and how she felt his success was because she tithed 10% of his winnings and always trusted in the Lord to help heal him.
Vivian loved her family and was proud of each and every one of them. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Joe) Ewing of Kissimmee, Florida; grandchildren, Gail and Jack Curran, Joliet, Ill; and Justin Curran of Delaware; great grandchildren, Emma and Nik Kosanovic and Jackson Curran; brother Joe (Joann) Harris, Warsaw, Ind.; Sisters-in-law, Pat Farrington, Richwood; Dorothy Farrington, Longwood, FL; Pat Stanford, Bellefontaine; Jean Farrington, West Mansfield; Marilyn (Tom) Pugh, West Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews that she was very close to.
Burial will take place at York Cemetery with graveside services at 11:00 AM on October 10, 2020 with Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating.

I am a friend of Robin cruise and I got to meet viv couple times
Very sweet lady. What a beautiful lady. The story about her and Willie is just amazing. She is now with her horse and husband.my heart goes out to her family.

My deepest condolences to the Farrington Family, the passing of Vivian is sad she was a true Lady and will be sadly missed, may God Bless Vivian even more then he has in the past, what a great team Vivian And Bob made now there back together in Heaven!

So oh very sorry to hear about the loss of Vivian Farrington, She was the greatest woman on Earth that spoke her words to Jessus, always at church every sunday with Pastor Tim Harlow , Did so much with her life with horses and interviews after racing.The best woman that lived her life to the fullest. Love you Aunt Viv may god be with you and Uncle Bob and Rambling Willie, Your all singing with the Angels now.

Sorry to read if Vivian's passing. I remember the good times we had playing cards, while waiting for the Hurricane to pass.

I always loved your mother Karen...........she was a grand lady and always carried herself with dignity....she will be missed by all who knew her.....................we all know she is with Bob and God now

Vivian will always be one of the shinning lights of my life.
Truly the most loving and caring person I’ve ever known.
She was so special, she touched people in ways that made all life’s problems go away. I love you Viv, I will miss you dearly!
