Sorry to hear about Merle. His suffering is over. He lived with me for about 3 months before he got into Marysville. By the way he was acting while he was here, I didn't think he would last as long as he did.

Scott, I have so many memories of your mother's family because our paths crossed as we all grew up in the Jackson Township community. There are so many thoughts crossing my mind. I could write an essay. Elsie and Imogene worked for my mother, who had a beauty shop in our home.
There are also the years when Diane and you were two of my wonderful sixth grade students, then Diane went on to ONU.
The most recent memories are of your parents as wonderful neighbors to my dear friend, Evelyn Somerlot Baker.
Keep Jackson Township and Richwood in your memories.  You have many relatives, on both sides, who have roots in the area.
             Mrs. Rebecca Blue George
