I always loved talking with Esther. She and Carl were my mother's neighbors in Richwood. And good neighbors they were. I am sad to hear this but think of the things she has lived to see 97 years. Thoughts and prayers for all the family.

I remember Esther from the chiropractor office but most the last few years at Memorial Gables. She would visit with my mom (Donna Flach) when they were there together. She was always so sweet to me when we spoke. I was also worked for the Board of Elections and would set her up to vote. She was a beautiful woman... love loved her. My sympathies for the family

To Esther Ann's family - I have known Esther from the 1950s when I worked for Carl at Kroger's in Richwood for several summers and after school, First I want to tell you how much I liked Carl. We were all treated so well and had a lot of fun, except the day he was carting gallon cans of Karo to the front of the store and several cans fell off and the lids flew open! Cleaning that up from an old wood floor was not a good day. After Esther went to the nursing home, we visited with her when we played in the Kitchen band. She was a special lady with a lovely family. God bless all of you.

Dear Roger, Barb and your families. We are so sorry for your loss of Esther. I loved working with her on election days. She never liked doing the "sit down" work, preferring to take folks to the voting booth. She could run circles around those who were 40 years younger than herself! I greatly admired her. God rest her soul.
