Renetta Dawn Penix Johnson
Renetta Dawn Penix JohnsonCrossRenetta Dawn Penix Johnson, 54 of Richwood, died Monday, July 6, 2020 at OSU Medical Center.

She was born December 23, 1965 in Kenton to Roy M. and Rona Starr (Griffith) Penix. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy M. Penix and two brothers, Robert Dean Penix and Roy M. Penix Jr.

First and foremost, Renetta loved Jesus. She was a member of Community United Calvary Church in Richwood. She worked for PPG for 24 years before going to work for Sanhua International in Marysville and CCFI in Dublin. Renetta loved being a grandma. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Nashville. She was also known to frequent casinos from time to time.

She is survived by her mother, Rona Penix, Richwood; daughters, Ronatta (Mark) Campbell, West Mansfield; Rheann (Josh) Turner, Galloway; Alecia (Eric) Stottlemyer, Plain City; Andrea (Dane) King, Richwood; grandchildren, Ryelle Gibson; Robert, Ronnie, Royden, Roland and Rosali Turner; Hank and Harper Stottlemyer; Justice, Saige, Brooklynn, Xander and Axen King; the love of her life, Roy “Buddy” Barnhart, Pennsylvania; and many special friends.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood. A graveside service will follow in Claibourne Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Hudson officiating.

Memorial gifts may be made to Community United Calvary Church, 273 Race Street, Richwood, OH 43344, or to the family to help with expenses.

My sweet dear friend will truly be missed. She touched many lives, and shared JESUS every place she went. I love her dearly may she rest her work on earth is done. I hope one-day to see you on the other side my beautiful friend.
