Condolences to the whole Ehret family.
I knew the earlier generations of the family well, Grandmother Laura, Aunt Lena, and of course Howard who drove the school bus. He was a little angry with me once when he stopped the bus so I could retrieve a hat I had been twirling on my finger.
I remember the party we had, perhaps a Halloween party at the old house on Fields Road where we all "bobbed" for apples.
It was a joint venture for Dorothy and David, undoubtedly.
Going to school at Jackson was sort of a family event. My primary classroom would have been David is third grade, me in second grade and Dorothy in first grade all controlled by Miss Hoffman.
And in this family I am not forgetting Uncle Sherm.
That was certainly part of the West Jackson
neighborhood.

Dearest Ehert Family members,

I am so very sorry to hear about the death of David. What a beautiful soul ,man of God and example to us all.

My prayers surround each of you in your loss and sorrow but also believe David is rejoicing in PARADISE at this very moment.

May the hope that you will meet him again someday forever in that BEAUTIFUL City of God bring you comfort, peace and joy.

Dave was a line supplier to many at Whirlpool. Always had a smile on his face, kind word to say , ear to listen, and numerous jokes to tell. His strong Faith and love for the Lord shined threw him. Chuck and Shell and your entire family is in my prayers for comfort and peace.

Dave was as good a neighbor, friend and fellow church member as I have ever known. His dedication to his Lord and love for everyone was unquestionable and this was known throughout the community and also in the workplace. I will always remember him leading the singing at church for many years. May God grant you His peace during this difficult time!!
