To the Field family I send my condolences for the loss of your father. Reading this brings back many childhood memories of parents car pooling and playing at your house. Keep your father's memories close.

A memory to share. The first terrible morning of the 1978 blizzard he drove a tractor down the road to see if Dick & I needed help. A good neighbor, a good person indeed. My condolences. Donna Evans

Our family wouldn’t have been complete without him. So many fun family parties, holidays and dinners. Many laughs and some tears too. RIP to my brother in law. Love to my nieces and nephews at this time.

May our Heavenly Father bring comfort & peace to the Field family. Dick was such a kind man. Our family has wonderful memories of riding out to y’all’s house & farm for visits. Dick & Jeanie also made the trip to Mississippi when Buffy & Jeff got married in 1990 and that made the day even more special. May y’all treasure your wonderful memories & God bless you all.

Field Family,
Dear Friends, I was unable to attend Dick's funeral service due to back pains that frequently hit me. I especially wanted to share with you some of the precious memories that I have of your Father. He and I were friends since middle school. I particularly appreciated the photo you chose to accompany the obituary. So many times I was the recipient of that gentle smile accompanied by the benignly sly over-the shoulder glance that reminded us both of some shared experience.
He contributed much to making La Rue and surrounds a better place in which to live. I witnessed first hand his love and pride of his family. I will miss him, too. Lee, Mark and Vi join me with this expression of condolence.
