Janet L. WileyRed Rose2Janet L. Wiley, 79, of Richwood, died unexpectedly Tuesday January 7, 2020 at her home.

She was born September 13, 1940 near Marysville to the late Charles L. and Mary Kathryn (Mouser) Davis, she was also preceded in death by a sister: Betty Davis.

Janet had worked at O.R.W. in Marysville for over 20 years as a secretary in medical records. She had attended the Byhalia Friends Church. Janet loved going out to eat at Kelly’s Kitchen in Richwood with” The Girls”. She also enjoyed her monthly meetings with the ORW retirees.

Surviving are her children: Valerie (Jim) Cox, Jim (Michelle) Wiley and Scott (Lisa) Wiley all of Richwood.
Grandchildren: Chad Wiley, Lindsey (Zach) Welch, Kyle (Emily) Wiley, Brandon, Alan and Steven Rizer, Rusty (Lisa) Cox, Megan (Josh Beard) Cox, Brandy (Keith) Johnson, Brittany (Brenton) Potter and Cody (Domineeka) Wiley
16 great grandchildren
Sisters: Virginia (George) Jewell and Peg (Jerry Weaver) Gray both of Marysville
and many extended family

Funeral services will be held Monday January 13, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Jim Gardner will officiate, burial will follow in the Broadway Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home in Richwood.

Seen the calendar this morning and instantly thought of you!  Such a kind loving woman who is greatly missed. May you rest in heaven Miss Janet. My thoughts and prayers go out also to  Valerie, Jim and Scott .. and the rest of the family  on this difficult day.
