Joe Charles Lambert
Joe Charles LambertOhioStateJoe Charles Lambert, 74, of Richwood passed away peacefully at his home Saturday November 30, 2019.

He was born September 10, 1945 in Columbus to the late Lulu (Easton) and Clarence Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Alvin Hyronimus , sister in law Kim Deno, and mother and father in law Jeannine and Stan Smith.

Joe retired from Rockwell International of Newark after 30 years as a painter and stockman. Joe was proud to have painted parts on the first space shuttle for NASA while at Rockwell. A lifelong car enthusiast, Joe also was a huge Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Brown fan who enjoyed his retirement.

Surviving is his loving wife Kathleen (McCracken) Lambert. Also surviving are children: Hank, J.D. and Heather Ann, along with 8 grandchildren. Brother in law John Deno, sister in law Terri (Jay) Lazza, and aunt and uncle Tom and Patty Diener and two nieces and a nephew.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday December 4, 2019 from 5-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Assn. 5900 Wilcox Place Dublin, OH 43016

Terry and I are so very sorry.  I have rewritten this countless times and every time I start over because words just can’t express the sadness we feel. We will treasure the friendship with Joey and you forever it feels as if we have not lost a dear friend but family. We love you.

Kathy...so sorry for the loss of your husband Joe...he was quite the character all the years we have know him.  He will be so sadly missed, but never forgotten.  Joe rest in peace...we will miss you. Our thought and prayers for you and the family.
