Jewell was a good back door neighbor to my elderly mother, Mrs. Blue.  She would bring her raspberries when they were in season and when my mother fell, Jewell found her and came to her aid.  Thank you Jewell.

Jewell was more than just an aunt to me. She and I shared a lot of the same interests including love of animals and auto racing. She was a friend and filled the absence after I lost my mother.  I admired her strength and independence
I will surely miss her.
