Daniel Morone

Daniel Morone, 58, of Grove City, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Mt. Carmel Hospital in Grove City.

He was born in Columbus on September 9, 1960.

Dan was a 1980 graduate of the North Union High School. He worked at Honda of America for 30 years. He enjoyed bowling and going to auctions. But he truly had a passion for his Ohio State Buckeye football team.

Surviving is his wife: Leona (Sheppard) Morone of Grove City, his mother: Jean Messer of Richwood, a son: Justin Morone of St. Louis, Missouri
Siblings: Joseph Morone of Springfield, Frank (Maureen) Morone of Marion, Mary (Bob) Pearson of Richwood and Teressa (Ron) King of Indian Lake
Step-children: Robert (Jessica) Sheppard of Michigan, Rodney (Jen) Cook of Grove City, Rachel (Jason) Da Latte, four loving grandchildren
Numerous other family members

He was preceded in death by his father: Chester A. Messer and a sister-in-law: Delanna Morone

Funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am at the funeral home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105

I will always hold our past memories close to my heart.....always & forever. Jean, Mary, Teressa, Frank, Rennie, Jake, Belinda, Joe, and my son, Justin, I love all of you so very much. We will ALWAYS be family......I couldn't be more blessed than to have been a part of this loving, fun, silly, & wonderful group of Morone's. We have each other in this time of loss. Thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. I worked with Dan in repair at Honda for many years, he was a great guy. I am sadden that he is gone at such a young age. We had a lot of good times. He will be missed.
