Margaret G. Miller
Margaret G. MillerCrossMargaret G. Miller, 92 of LaRue died peacefully Friday, April 19, 2019 at Primrose Retirement Community of Marion.

She was born December 19, 1926 in Marion to the late James Omer and Myrtle (Smith) Saunders.

On December 23, 1947 she married Lester L. Miller in the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion and he died July 16, 1998. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

She was a farm wife, but during World War II worked at the ordinance factory in Marion. She was the first woman school bus driver for Elgin School District. Margaret was a good Christian lady who was a lifelong and dedicated member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion.

She is survived by two sons, Lloyd E. (Lillian) Miller of Marion; Leslie A. (Mary) Miller of Richwood; three daughters, Leota Margene (Paul) Major of LaRue; Rebecca J. (Rick) Dean of Richwood; Suzanne (Douglas) Pickett of Caledonia; a sister, Evelyn Miller, Mt. Alto, West Virginia; eleven grandchildren, Bonita (Kip) Fields, Timothy (Claudia) Major, Maryanne (Josh) Holtschulte, Sarah (Josh) Scott; Micah Dean, Christina (Christopher) Jados, Nathan (Kenlea) Miller, Amanda (Eric) Rausch, Jeremiah Winfield, Aaron (Angel) Pickett, Becca (Wes) Wigton, 24 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild on the way.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Deacon Kevin Kehn officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service, beginning at noon.

Memorial gifts may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 South Prospect Street, Marion, OH 43302.
