Jeff Leiter
Jeff LeiterGolf GreenJeff Leiter, 68, of Richwood, died peacefully Wednesday evening March 6, 2019 at the home of his brother near Raymond, following a short battle with cancer.

He was born February 17, 1951 in Dayton to the late Dean and Marjorie (Bayless) Leiter.

Jeff graduated from the Cloverleaf High School, near Medina in 1969. He then worked for Chem-Lawn in the Cleveland area before partnering with a friend to start C & L Lawn Service in Ashtabula County. He left C & L upon moving to Union County and going to work for Ohigro in Richwood, where he recently retired after over 30 years of service.

Jeff enjoyed family and being outdoors. One of his true passions was playing golf, he could be found most Sunday mornings at Blues Creek with his family playing golf. Jeff was a member of the Marysville Moose and Eagles and the Richwood VFW.

He is survived by his siblings: Francie (Dale) DeCarlo of Dublin and Duane (Kathleen) Leiter of Raymond.
His former wife and good friend: Jenny Leiter
Close family: Jaime (Joy) Leiter of Marysville and Justin (Sasha Neer) Leiter of Broadway
Nieces and nephews: Doug and Matt DeCarlo, Beth DeCarlo Logan and Andrea DeCarlo Marinelli

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be celebrated Saturday March 23, 2019 from 4-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood
