Madison Lynn GreenLibrary BooksMadison Lynn Green, 14 of Richwood died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at home. She was born July 30, 2004 in Marysville to V. Todd and Jessica (Price) Green.

Maddy was an 8th grader at North Union Middle School where she had lots of friends. A beautiful young lady inside and out, she was known for her great sense of humor and for being honest and forthcoming with her opinions. She liked to pick on her parents. She was loyal and would stand up for her friends.

She loved family gatherings and never wanted to miss them. She especially loved her Papa Mike dearly. She loved to hunt and ride the four-wheeler and go camping and boating with friends. Maddy was artistic and an avid reader. She believed in Jesus and she loved animals.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Hunter; maternal grandparents, John and Karen Price, Richwood; paternal grandmother, Linda Phipps, North Lewisburg; aunts, Jennifer (Bradd) Field, LaRue; Candace (Brent) Hunt, Richwood; Amanda (Mark) Wiley, Richwood; Ashley (Aaron) Smith, Richwood; uncles, Scott (Becky) Massey, Dexter City; Eric (Lisa) Massey, Beverly; cousins, Austin, Haiden, Cade, Reegan, Adalee, Easton, Joseph, Lily, Sutton, Henry, Kierston, Cole, Destiny, Justin, and Kyle. She was preceded in death by her Papa Mike Phipps and Papa Virgil Green.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, February 22 from 3 to 8 PM at the funeral home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Union County Humane Society, 16540 County Home Road, Marysville, OH 43040.

I know that it is coming up on her One year and I just want to say she still hasn't been forgotten by her friends and I have started a suicide awareness group because of her i have been friends with Maddie since kindergarten and Jessica was my softball coach for many years and I continue to do things in her honer and I will not let people forget ♥️♥️♥️I love you maddie
