To Janet's family and friends:  Heaven has gained a beautiful lady.  She touched so many lives with her love and Christian blessings.  She was a wonderful disciple of Christ and was not afraid to share her faith.  She was the "go to gal" in our church.  She did so many things and we just always knew Janet would take care of that. She started the Prayer Bear ministry in our church - She could not knit or crochet the bears so she became the delivery person. She delivered them to the sick and others in need of prayers.  She helped out in the community and volunteered for so many different organizations.  We love you Janet and will miss you so much.  Your memory will always be with us.  God Bless you sweet lady.  My sympathy goes out to her family and the whole community.

To Janet's friends and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed talking with Janet, she came to the school senior awards program and presented the Byhalia-York Alumni Scholarship.  I'm going to miss working with her on this.  Such a kind hearted lady who gave a lot back to the community.

Janet was such a dear, sweet lady. She was a true servant of God and her community, there for anyone who needed her and in any capacity she was able. We will sorely miss her here, but I am certain that God has joyfully welcomed her into Heaven for a long-awaited reunion with her husband, Larry and other loved ones. May God bless and grant peace to all her family and friends and may we all try to live as selflessly as Janet did.

Dear Bliss Family,  from a long time friend and past neighbor, growing up just down the road from your family, your Sister was a great friend and genuinely wonderful person.  She always thought of everyone else and was helpful to so many other people - she will surely have a place in heaven.
Kindest Regards, Beckie McMahan Congrove

My most sincere sympathies. I adored Janet, she was always a pleasure to see. Always perky and smiling. Every other Saturday at the First Methodist was not the same if she were missing. During the cold months (and some that weren't quite as cold) she would ask me to fix her a cup of hot chocolate, but only with 1/2 the envelope mixture. Guess she was sweet enough and didn't need the whole packet! She will leave a tremendous gap in our mission. God received a wonderful new angel the day she left us. Even now, she is probably asking Him for more ways to serve. May our Lord ease your pain and suffering and comfort you throughout this sorrowful time, Dirk
