Mary Lou Buckley
Mary Lou BuckleyCrossMary Lou Buckley, 88, formerly of Marion and Prospect, died early Friday morning August 24, 2018 at the Wyandot County Home in Upper Sandusky.

She was born July 8, 1930 in Orrville to the late Herbert and M. Lucille (Allen) Cunningham, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Buckley, they were married April 27, 1952 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Marion and he died May 15, 2013.

Mary Lou was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known for her cooking and baking skills; sugar cookies and pickles were some of her best. Mary Lou loved antiques and going to yard sales.

She was a strong Christian, having been a long-time member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prospect.

Surviving is her children: Mike Buckley, Cheri (Ben) Logan and Scott Buckley all of Harpster
Grandchildren: Courtney (Matt) Frombaugh, Kaiti (Mark) VonKaenel, Brett (Anna) Ralph, Anik Buckley and Quin Buckley
Great grandchildren: Parker and Ella Frombaugh, Cooper and Harper VonKaenel and Hadley Ralph

The family would like to thank the loving staff at Wyandot Skilled Nursing Home as well as Hospice of Wyandot County for their love and care.

Funeral services will be held Monday August 27, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prospect, Deacon Kevin Kehn will officiate, burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 am.

Memorial gifts may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 200 E. Water St. Prospect, Ohio 43342 and or the Hospice of Wyandot County, 105 Houpt Drive Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351

Many fond memories of Mary Lou. She and Bob went to adult catechism with me for 2 yrs at St Paul with Rev. Dobberstein and many ball games. Loved going to your Grandmother Cunningham with your Mom. Prayers

Mary Lou was a childhood and teen friend . At that time she was a member of Central Christian church.We spent many good times with her and other friends. Have lost track of her since moving from the Richwood Area. We have many good thoughts of her, great lady. You have our prayers.
