James A. Crager
James A. CragerMCIRJames A. Crager 72, of LaRue, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday afternoon July 18, 2018 at his home, he has been surrounded by his loving family the last days of his life on earth.

Jim was born November 26, 1945 in Plain City to the late James E. and Emma (Mowell) Crager, he was also preceded in death by a son, Kenny Thompson, brother, Rick Crager and his only mother-in-law, Doris Bowers.

He was a service manager for Goodyear/Hatfield Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep Dealership in London for over 40 yrs., growing up he helped on the family farm near Plain City. Along with his brother John, he enjoyed racing at the Marion County International Raceway, LaRue.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patty (Huntley) they were married June 14, 1985 in New California, children: Alex (Colleen) Crager, Westerville, Phil (Bethanie) Crager, Columbus, James Crager, Ft. Myers, Fl, Carl (Megan) Thompson, Marion and Penny Rose, LaRue
Grandchildren: Richard Thompson, Andy (KeeAnn) Thompson, Kyle (Megan) Hopkins, Amanda Hopkins, Mason Crager, Brittani (Dalton) Patrick, Megan Crager and Gage Kimberling
Great grandchildren: Landon Hopkins, Ella Hopkins-Rosebrough and Zaylee Thompson
Siblings: John (Cheryl) Crager, David (Michell) Crager and Susie Jeffers, all of Plain City

Graveside services will be held Monday July 23, 2018 at 10:30 am at the LaRue Cemetery, Pastor Bill Middleton will officiate, friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Grace Baptist Church, 1560 Marion-Marysville Rd., Marion, Ohio 43302 and or the Huntington’s Disease Society, 505 Eighth Ave. Suite 902 New York, New York 10018

So sorry for your loss. Jim was a classmate of mine. We loved telling jokes back in the day, until we couldn’t remember them anymore. We shared a lot of laughs over the years. Prayers.🙏🏻🙏🏻💕

Patty & family, Bob & I are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We remember how happy he made you & how he loved all his kids and yours. He will be missed but you have the hope in Jesus you will see him again. Love you. Wish we could be with you at this time. Hugs.
