Terry Moore
Terry MooreRed Rose2Terry Moore 52, of LaRue, died unexpectedly May 23, 2018 at his home.

He was born September 13, 1965 in Kenton to the late Robert and Marjorie Ann (Van Vlerah) Moore; he was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Mitchell

Terry worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart in Marion for 13 years, before that he had worked at J-Lenco in LaRue. He was a proud longtime resident of LaRue. Terry was an unassuming quiet guy, until you got to know him and then he could talk your socks off, just ask the girls at one of his favorite hang-outs, the Marathon station in LaRue. Terry enjoyed watching the monster trucks and always had an optimistic outlook on life. He will be missed by many friends.

Surviving is his brother, Robert (Bonnie) Moore of Hilliard, Florida, nephew, Shawn (Tonya) Engle, niece, Valerie Wood and their families.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday June 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue; friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tim Pasma will officiate. Burial has taken place at the LaRue Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice

Terry was always a pleasure to work with. My husband worked side by side with him for about 7 years on the Walmart Waxing team and he trained him. He was always patient and kind. His death breaks out hearts but Terry is with his parents now. God bless Terry

My heart goes out to Terry's family. We are all devastated at Walmart store 1750. He will be sadly missed. Terry was a hard worker, always, ALWAYS so nice to everyone. Always said good morning, always spoke. Never walked by an associate without speaking. I always loved talking to him. With all he has been through and survived, it's really tough to hear that he passed the way he did. He will always have a special place in my heart. R.I.P TERRY!!

I had the pleasure of working with Terry at J-Lenco. He was always there to chat with.  Whenever we would see each other at the gas station in La Rue, we would talk and get caught up on what each other was doing since the last time we met.  He was a sweet, caring and great friend.

Terry was hard working, kind, funny, loyal and a friend to many.  He never knew a stranger and had a smile that would light up a room.  The world would be a better place if there were more "Terrys" in it.  A life well lived and a great loss to the LaRue community.  We're all better for having known him.

Ter I'm sure going to miss you. It's been hard so far. I've called Donie Doss your name like 3 times already. 😭 I miss our little smoke breaks at the gas station. You would alway come around 8:30 and had to leave by 10 minutes after 9. You would always say I don't want to be late. When I had to stock the cooler you would follow me and just keep talking to me all the way!Tim misses you to he's been there for me. I'll miss you forever. RIP Ter

To Terry's family, I send my deepest and most heartfelt condolences.   Terry was always such a sweet and loving person.   Always had a smile on his face and always there with a cheerful word for whoever needed it.  It's been a couple of years since I last ran into him in LaRue,  but he approached me and talked to me as if we had just seen each other the day before.   He will definitely be missed by many people.   Such a kind and loving soul.  Rest in peace,  Terry.
