I was so very sorry to read of your losing your beautiful wife and Mom. I remember her as us kids (Bonita, Randy, and Jerry) all grew up together, riding the school bus, and ice skating in the winter. She always had a delightful smile and encouraged us kids. Please know how very sad my heart feels for your family. Praying for your peace as you walk through this season of grief.

Such a loss to her family, her friends, the community and to my Aunt. Martha and she were close, very close life long friends. Martha was always young and engaged with people, vibrant and easy to talk to. It seems that the "old" Richwood community that I knew is losing its heart these days. Rest in Peace Martha, you will be missed. Bill, Bonita, Jerry & Randy we are thinking of you.

Martha and I were both born in Richwod in the same year, I in July and she in August about three weeks later. We started in the first grade together and spent the next twelve years moving through the grades and graduating together. She was always one of the prettiest and friendliest of the girls in our class. She was always fun to be around. In later years it was always a pleasure to return to Richwood and run into Martha at the Gazette office, at the fair or playing Euchre at the Center. She never failed to offer a friendly and welcoming greeting. I had to admire the way she maintained her good spirits in the face of a painful spinal condition. I am now among the many friends who will miss her smiling face.
